Spring break w grandpa John

Gavin and daddy are on a trip to Florida this week. They are visiting grandpa on his sailboat. This is Gavin's second boat adventure. His first was on chat field reservoir in Colorado at age three months! This time he gets to sleep on the boat, go sailing and even drive! Every time I talk to him he is so excited. Meanwhile back at the ranch, trevor is enjoying only child status. He got to sleep in this morning and gets to sit wherever he wants for dinner. Live it up buddy!

36 hours with Grandma Miriam!

Grandma Miriam stopped by on her way back to California. We crammed as much as we could into 3 days. She arrived late on Thursday evening. On Friday, Gavin made her a cup of coffee then took her to the park! That evening, we all went out to dinner then went to Lamont Does park near downtown Lafayette. Trevor found another basketball net!

On Saturday, Gavin, Trevor and daddy took grandma to the rec center to watch Gavin's swim and gymnastics classes. We had lunch, took naps then had a pre-birthday celebration for Gavin. On Sunday morning we played some more then daddy took grandma back to the airport! It was a fun but fast visit!

February and March

We decided it was time to start changing Trevor's room over from baby to big boy. His obsession with baseballs, footballs and soccer balls made the theme an easy one to choose!

Trevor and his letters - A, A, A says Ahh!

Trevor and mommy were spectators at gymnastics class one Saturday. Trevor preferred watching the big kids play basketball!

Guess Who's Favorite Number is FOUR!

 Gavin: 3/23/09 (his birthday!)

Gavin: 3/23/10 (1 year)

Gavin: 3/23/11 (2 years)

Gavin: 3/23/12 (3 years)

Gavin 3/23/13 (4 years)

Oh the places he's been! Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, California and now Florida! And, of course, Colorado! For a few months, if you'd ask Gavin what his favorite number was, he'd say four. I asked again on his birthday, he said five!

We celebrated Gavin's birthday with Uncle David and Amy. We had pizza and cake and only opened one gift - no others could top it. A remote control car from Uncle David and Amy. The boys had such a blast learning to drive it. The baseboards are suddenly showing some wear but the kids sure are having fun!

Happy Birthday Gavin!
