I was wide awake at 6:30 this morning so mom thought she'd see if I'd smile for her!

2 Months and Counting
The kiddo just keeps growing and growing.
Yesterday was Gavin's 2 month visit to the pediatrician. He now weighs 11 lbs 10.75 oz. and is over 22 inches long. Mom sure is doing a great job feeding him... and feeding him and feeding him. I still cannot help because my milk has not come in yet. We might seek professional help soon.
At this visit, Gavin received his first round of immunizations (4 shots and one oral). He was a trooper. Howled like crazy when poked by 1+ inch needles then settled down and fell asleep. He was great for a few hours then things became too much and daddy had to run out and purchase some baby Tylenol. Today he seems to be back to normal.
On the development side - he is becoming more alert and active by the day, including studying artwork around the house. Gavin is a huge fan of Joel Nakumura and Ansel Adams. Plus, he has started to smile at us (and it's not because he's filling a diaper).

Our visit east
We went back east for a week to attend dad's memorial service and visit with family and friends. It was nice to see so many family and friends of dad at the service. It was entertaining to hear the same stories about dad spoken by a variety of folks. The stories revolved around water skiing, boating, snow skiing and light bulbs!
