Funny faces

Trevor and his never-ending teething adventure.

 Gavin and the slide!

This has quickly become Gavin and Trevor's favorite toy (ours too!). The main pieces are marbles - aka. balls. Trevor loves them but they're a choking hazard. Gavin enjoys playing with it until Trevor steels all of the marbles. Let's just say, this piece is going to the basement for a year or two.

Back to the pumpkin patch!

Gavin made friends with a set of twin girls at preschool. Ask him what he did on any given day and he'll say he played with the girls. So, we thought it would be fun to meet them at the pumpkin patch! It was a cold, damp day but it was still fun. After picking pumpkins, we stopped briefly at the bounce houses then got in the car to go to lunch. Just in time for the rain to come in! We now have enough pumpkins for the pumpkin carving party!

Gavin and the dinosaurs

For a few weeks now, Gavin has been asking about dinosaurs. He usually does this when one of us is putting him to bed. I admit, I don't know much about dinosaurs except that they died off during the ice age. He picked up on this and started asking about the ice age. So, when preschool was closed for 2 days, I decided it was time to go back to the Museum of Nature and Science and check out the dinosaur exhibit. We took our pals Morgan and Riley and met up with Sarah, Claire and Duncan. We got to run around the dinosaur exhibit, see and touch some fossils and see how HUGE some of the dinosaurs were. Gavin was impressed that some of the dinosaurs looked similar to his tortoises, while others had HUGE teeth! After the dinosaurs, we went to the toddler zone play area. Gavin, Claire and Duncan ran free and explored everything. Afterwards we had lunch and went home!

Days Off!

Gavin and Trevor both had days off in early October. Trevor hung out with mom for 3 days. We played, went to the park, rode in the bike trailer and... mom too me to McDonalds. What the heck, I wanted to see if he would eat it. I got him a Happy Meal with McNuggets, fries and chocolate milk. He liked the fries and chocolate milk.

We have a McDonalds photo of Gavin at the same age.

Cutting the lawn - again!

Gavin insisted we cut the lawn again. It was time. He needed to follow daddy around the yard and make sure it was done correctly. Trevor even got in on the action and told Gavin he missed a spot!

Hey brudder, you missed a spot. NO, that one.

Pumpkin Picking - 1st visit

We went pumpkin picking on opening day at Rock Creek Farm with Uncle David and Amy. He took most of the good photos! He was also in charge of carrying pumpkins to the car. Gavin picked one that looked like a skeleton head and I picked the largest one I could find! It was a beautiful sunny day and the pumpkin vines were still green and growing!
