First day of soccer

Gavin has been asking about soccer for months. We purchased cleats and shin guards a few weeks ago. Today was the big day. I picked him up from school and we headed to the rec center. He was one of twenty 4 and 5 year olds. He had a blast! He watched, he listened and when he was done a drill, he would happily run to the back of the line. The only thing he was bummed about was not getting to use his very own ball during practice. He fixed that issue by coming home and heAding to the backyard to kick it around a bit! Deep run watch out!

My favorite shirt!

Trevor, the kid that loves any sport that uses a ball, has taken to this basketball shirt from amy! During the day or to bed, he insists on wearing it! I did convince him to let me wash it over the weekend, so he wore it again today!

Continuous birthday

Gavin got to open his birthday gift from maria after his trip to Florida! His very own binoculars. Now he doesn't have to borrow daddy's to watch the owl this summer-if trevor will give them back! Now I just have to figure out when to have his party!

Trevor and I had a nice quiet week together while the Cresap boys were in Florida! We hung out, ate dinner whenever, went to bed later, we were on a stay- cation! We played basketball every night after daycare-trevor even let me win!
