Just for the record, that's NOT my hair. I can't speak for Gavin though.

Here are a few photos from the Courage Classic and grandma and grandpa Beam's visit. Gavin started daycare on August 3. He is going to an in home daycare in the neighborhood. Dad drops off and picks him up every day via stroller ride. He is doing well and sleeps VERY well. Goes to bed after 8 and doesn't wake up til 3:30 most nights. He's become a poop-machine in the past few days going every day - we were spoiled with his once a week activity. Boy things change quickly. We did a weigh in today and figure he's almost 16 lbs at 4 and a half months!

Joels folks left town on Friday. They were a great help getting us situated and unpacked. We survived our first weekend at the new house and did yard work. I think a lot of weekends are going to turn out this way! It's worth it. Back to work tomorrow.

Well we finally sat down for a family portrait. I am very pleased with how it turned out.

Courage Classic

Joel and I volunteered at the 20th annual Courage Classic over the weekend. We decided it was our 7th year. Gavin joined us and so did grandma and grandpop. They took care of the little man while we were marshaling. It was fun to see a lot of the same faces riding past us - lots of the kids are getting bigger. Photos to come!

Busy Few Weeks

Lot's of activity at the Beam house. In the last few weeks... My folks arrived from CA for another visit, purchased a home, moved, started cleaning the old place, and Gavin had his 4 month doctor visit.

My folks drove out from CA with their doggie and pulled a Uhaul containing furniture that's been with the family for some time. The same day Jenn and I signed paperwork to purchase a home in Lafayette, CO. We are quite pleased and looking forward to settling in. We have been going like crazy every day. Trying to work and move and unpack. My back is quite stiff. Gavin had his 4 month check-up. He's now about 14 pounds and 24 inches. Plus, he received his second round of shots. This one was a bit more traumatic then the fist visit. The nurse was not as fast.....
