Sorry I haven't updated in a while. It has been a busy few weeks. We've been going to weekly doctor's visits. The kiddo sounds like a horse running around the track when they hook us up to the fetal monitor!
On Saturday, we visited with Tina and John and their kiddos from PA/NJ. I used to work with them at DSJ in Philly. The come out for a ski trip every few years. This year we met them on their way out of town. Was great to see them and their growing kiddos!
When we returned home from our visit, Joel took a few drawers down to the basement from the dresser we're going to put in junior's room so I could fill them. He missed a few steps and landed on his foot to cause some severe pain. I pulled the car back out of the garage and we went to the hospital for a Saturday evening in the ED and an x-ray. Luckily nothing was broken just sprained. He has a nice bruise to show for it!
On Sunday, my brother came down to help move furniture. Since Joel was laid up, friends Marsha and Keith came to the rescue. They were able to help move furniture from upstairs to downstairs. Now we are more at ease that we have things set up for junior when he arrives.
I had a doctors appt on Monday and Friday of this past week. Monday we did fetal monitoring and again the kiddo was racing around the track. My fluids were measuring low so i had to drink up - that seemed to do the trick after 4 hours. The doc said junior was looking good but we would probably deliver early - like at 38 weeks. Had the regular doctors appt on Friday. The doc checked things out, again, everything looked good but still breech. We set up the scheduled C-section for the 23rd of March! 10 days from now - oh boy! Time to pack the bags, finish the taxes and get a few more things done around the house!
The weekend has arrived!
Sorry to hear about Joel's accident. Exciting to hear you will be parents before the end of the month. Will watch the blog for the news!
