Every year since the early 2000s I would go down to my friend Katie's house in Denver for a pre-Halloween pumpkin carving party. I'd join the then little kids and carve pumpkins. Those little kids now have their drivers licenses! I thought we'd start a tradition up north and invite a few little people to carve pumpkins! There were 7 little people and their parents and Uncle David and Amy! We set up the picnic table in the garage (although it was nice weather outside!) with a tarp under it and went to town. It was fun. The kids are a bit young to use sharp knives on their own so the parentals carved and the kids supervised!
