More video...

Gavin is having fun these days pulling up and rolling around! Video is taken from our camera so not the best lighting - still pretty entertaining! video

Gavin and his knit set

I've been wanting to to take a photo of Gavin in his knit set from Grandma Miriam and her friends in Bakersfield. He is sitting in front of his blanket, with his socks and hat. I had to act fast. Mr. G doesn't keep socks on for very long - he thinks he's a beach boy!

A few more snow photos

Joel thinks we got about 18 inches of the white stuff last week. It's all gone thanks to the sunny days!

Halloween photos at last!

So I'm a little slow at posting Gavin's Halloween photos! We dressed Mr. G up in his lobster costume and dad took him around to a few neighbors to meet and greet (dad dressed as the fisherman and mom was the chef). When they came home we handed out candy to lots of little trick or treaters. I tried to put G into a few kids pillowcases! A few kids were willing to trade me their Snickers bars! Jamie Z stopped over and we ate dinner and reeses peanut butter cups! mmmm! Time change - boo!!!

Current Snow Total

It's 3:30 PM and I just measured 10.5 inches of snow on the back porch. It's still comming down.

Pre-Halloween Snow Storm

Like clockwork, Halloween is this weekend and we are getting snow. I took the dogs out around 8 this morning and there was about 6 inches. It's now after 3 p.m. and there must be at least 8. The driveway is cleared and Joel is threatening to buy a snowblower if we get more snow like this! At the least we need another shovel!

Happy white Halloween from Colorado!

NO more peas, please!

video
So, we thought we'd try the green foods this week and start with peas. A co-worker (Eloe) said to buy the canned baby peas and puree them ourselves. Joel did the honors. Luckily he didn't puree the whole can! We got a good laugh out of this one! Peas are obviously not as tasty as sweet potatoes!
