And last but not least...

Grandma Joyce moved to Colorado in mid-June! She, uncle Dick, David and Bradley packed her house, loaded it onto a truck and sent it west. Grandma got a one way plane ticket to Denver and David and Amy drove her car west on 80 through the great mid-west. She is dividing her time between David's place and ours until we find her a condo of her very own. Right now she is "on vacation" until further notice. The boys are thrilled to have her read them books and see her when they get home from school. Yeah grandma Joyce!

14 years in co for jenn
6 for david
Three weeks and counting for mom!

Who's next?

Fourth of July parade

Each year the neighborhood has a bike parade. We decorate our rides and meet at the pool. Then we divide up into big kids and little ones and ride around the neighborhood behind a classic car. Daddy and grandpa road motorcycles, gavin road the strider and trevor rode in his stylin wagon with grandma and mom. After the parade the ice cream truck shows up. This year mom remembered our bathing suits so we played in the pool for a while! Happy fourth!

Fun with grandpa

The grandparents Beam came to visit for the fourth. They brought water squirters. Gavin and grandpa were soaked in no time at all!

Helping daddy!

We like to help daddy cut the grass!

Pool time!

Mom finally took us to the pool. We had FUN!

Luggage for all!

Case Logic was having a warehouse sale so I took the opportunity to get some luggage for the boys. They had a blast rolling their very own suitcases around the house! I eventually took them to the basement! Hope they're still excited to pull their own weight when we travel again!

Funny boys...

Daddy sandwich

We were playing around before bedtime one night making a daddy sandwich. There are some funny somersault videos but they won't upload from my phone!

Yellow chair update

I can get the boys to sit still once in a while in the yellow chair. Here they are at four and two in their twin shirts a la grandma Joyce!

More soccer...

Gavin had three games at the end of his season. It was fun to watch him improve. He pushed his way past the big kids to get to the ball. We signed him up for fall soccer already since he had so much fun.

Mini golf w david and amy!

Memorial Day weekend... We went to north boulder with david and amy and had FUN! Check it out... Golf, race cars and video games! Are they fun dates or what!

Our first babysitter graduates college!

Moms pal Kaylee graduated a full year early from CSU! We went up to ft Collins to celebrate with her. She watched both gavin and me when mom went back to work. Now she's going off to work! Good luck kaylee!

Take a hike, or an open space walk!

Mom, gavin and I decided to go for a test walk a few miles from the house one Saturday. Gavin kept talking about going so we loaded up the car and went. Mom brought water and snacks. And we were off. We saw prairie dogs squeeking at us, runners and bicycles, and we even made it down to the overpass, walked under and saw fish in a stream. It was great. We sat on the side of the path and ate snacks and drank water. Then it was time to walk back up the hill. We stopped half way to hear the train go through louisville and continued. Mom carried me a bit, come on, it was uphill and I'm two! All in all it was a success!

Bowling!

Uncle David and Amy were out of town on my birthday this year. They met us at one of Gavin's soccer games and got me my very own bowling set. G and I love going to the bowling alley with them. What a great gift! Thanks.

Coloring!

The pergola photo

We try to get everyone out to the pergola when they visit. Here we are with the Beams in late April!

Trevor turns two!

Grandma and grandpa Beam stopped by on their way back to Cali. Good timing, it was t's birthday! Since  he is into basketballs and anything round, we got a. Basketball shaped cake... Also because that's what is on his favorite shirt! (The one in all photos of late!) we celebrated with family and opened presents. More balls!
