We can't believe that Mr. G is already 9 mos old! He had his 9 mos check up today. We finally switched to a pediatrician closer to home though we'll miss Dr. Bosley.
G's latest stats: 17 lbs 13 oz and 27 inches.
His latest tricks: he can now pull himself up from sitting to standing while holding on to something. He does a lot of rolling around to get across the family room. Just today he started doing the army crawl - he wants to play with the dogs chew toys - hey, whatever works! Grandma Joyce is in town from PA. She is having a fun time playing and hanging out with him.
He has one tooth that he got around Thanksgiving and the second is on its way. What a great smile!
Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

mmm green beans...
on saturday night, we asked grandma miriam to feed gavin his "mushies". we wanted to try something new so pureed up some green beans. when we puree, the mushies aren't quite as mushie as the store bought stuff. well, grandma sat down to feed and gave G a few bites. he wasn't too thrilled. he made his funny faces and did his open mouth coughing. we decided that was enough of the green beans and switched back to the old reliable sweet potatoes. well, he finished off the jar then proceeded to spit EVERYTHING up all over the tray and down the front of his bib - good thing the bib had a pouch on the front! what a messy kid. grandma said we set her up! i offered to let her feed him again tonight but she declined. we'll wait a few more days!

Gavin is having fun these days pulling up and rolling around! Video is taken from our camera so not the best lighting - still pretty entertaining!

A few more snow photos
Halloween photos at last!
So I'm a little slow at posting Gavin's Halloween photos! We dressed Mr. G up in his lobster costume and dad took him around to a few neighbors to meet and greet (dad dressed as the fisherman and mom was the chef). When they came home we handed out candy to lots of little trick or treaters. I tried to put G into a few kids pillowcases! A few kids were willing to trade me their Snickers bars! Jamie Z stopped over and we ate dinner and reeses peanut butter cups! mmmm! Time change - boo!!!
