Leaving Hosptial

After four days at the hospital we are heading home this afternoon. Now the fun and games begin as we leave the comfort of support of the hospital staff. They have been great!!
Looks like we got a bit of snow on Thursday and it's quite cold out (maybe 15 degrees).
Hope I don't have to shovel too much snow.
Mom and baby are doing great. The feeding thing is getting better and Gavin is starting to gain back the weight he lost on the first few days (this is normal for all newborns).
We even got some sleep last night. YEAH!!!
More updates soon.

  2. Hi guys,
Congrats!! I'm sure you're wonderful parents. A C-section recovery is rough, so don't push yourself to do too much, it's major surgery to recover from. I hope you've got some friends & relatives to help out for the first few weeks (and sneak in some sleep!). By the time 3 months go by, you'll be surprised at how strong you've gotten, since you'll be really weak at first. I know what it's like, so give a call anytime if you need to vent! (856) 547-45551. Love ya,
    Alicia "Jones Girl" Cooley
    PS- he's beautiful!
